Five Things to Keep in Mind While Planning a Baby Shower

Baby Showers have existed in one form or another in many cultures over time. The Baby Shower is a fairly modern concept and is very "in" thing these days. There are not hard and fast rules as to what a Baby Shower Party should be. It is entirely upto the person hosting the Shower to make whatever he or she wants to make of it.

The key to hosting a great Baby Shower is to keep few things in mind for example

1. Consult the Parents-to-be about the time and the date of Shower to be held before making arrangements.

2. Organization is an important factor. Keep track of all your activities from planning the Shower to the last minute of guest departure and baby shower favors.

3. Send your baby shower invitations way in advance for instance three to four weeks time for guests to adjust there schedules and give them plenty of time to plan ahead for the event.

4. Keep in mind the expectant parents relationship to the host of the party. Who are you hosting for? How and what limits do you set on the Shower Party?

5. Do everything to make it as fun and full of joy and excitement as you can for the expectants parents to give them a breat from the worries, stresses and fears of pregnancy and the responsibilities of the new life.
